My communication style

I am going to meet you where you are at. I do have a direct approach, but it is handled with kindness and respect. In addition, I find myself to be a great listener and provide feedback with empathy and validation.

My journey to mental healthcare

I got my start in mental health as a case worker. My director of social work was my mentor and pushed me to go back to school to become a social worker. From there, I made numerous connections with my professors who saw the clinical potential in me and gave me a chance to practice under them once I obtained my license.

My goals for you

My goal is to assist my patients in achieving their goals. If I am not the right fit, I assist all of my patients with finding the right fit for them. The therapeutic relationship is one in which therapist and client align to achieve goals.

Our first session

I want my patients to feel comfortable and understand that not everything needs to be discussed in the first session. We will build a relationship over time and ease into topics at your pace.
