My clients typically would like to know how to understand their anxiety and how it started for them. It is interesting to them to trace back the origins of how these feelings began.
My approach
While I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the majority of my sessions, I feel that my best approach is to use what makes my clients feel comfortable. It is most rewarding when I feel the therapeutic alliance taking shape!
