Hi there, I'm Amy!

I utilize cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, person-centered, narrative, and motivational interviewing within my practice. I believe harm-reduction interventions create motivation for change in abstinence behaviors. My focus is treating your needs instead of being diagnosis-driven or following a rote treatment regimen.

My focus

I provide counseling for adults over 18 and couples. I have experience treating depression, bipolar disorder, grief, loss, addiction, co-dependency, anxiety, stress, adjustment disorder, attention deficit, trauma, PTSD, parental stress, and chronic pain. I believe there is a correlation between mind and body for wellness and emotional healing.

My approach

Counseling with me is interactive and collaborative. Change and personal growth are a personal journey that has its own rate of speed. Between sessions, I want you to determine what suggestions or coping skills were effective or not effective for discussion in our next sessions.
