Hi there, I'm Michael!

I am passionate about helping clients with their mental health needs. I have worked in numerous mental health settings, and I have experience with a wide range of mental health conditions. I am a retired Army Veteran and have a special interest in treating trauma and addiction.

My focus

I primarily work with adults with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, OCD, ADHD (non-stimulant medications), and PTSD. I also have experience treating psychotic spectrum disorders.

I provide a communication approach that seeks patients' input in all aspects of care. From taking time to listen to patients to being available to address patient concerns between appointments, I believe the patient-provider relationship is a team approach.

Our first session

The first session involves a thorough psychiatric evaluation, including a diagnostic assessment, gathering of psychiatric, psychosocial, family, and medical history, and the development of a treatment plan. The subsequent follow-up appointments involve medication management and incorporate psychotherapy.
