My communication style

I offer a supportive and empathetic environment where you can express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I understand that being emotionally vulnerable in therapy is difficult, and I consider it an honor to partner with people working through painful life experiences. Many people have described me as warm and easy to talk to.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist because I had a personal experience with therapy that was invaluable in helping me move forward in healthy ways. I also saw how therapy helped other people in my life heal, grow, and recover. I believe that we all have the potential for positive growth and change if we are willing to work towards this.

My goals for you

Therapy is a partnership, so we will collaborate to identify goals that are meaningful to you. Examples include decreasing symptoms of depression or anxiety, building self-esteem, or learning healthy coping skills. Over the course of therapy, your goals may change and evolve, so I am always flexible and open to adapting our plan.

Our first session

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will discuss your background, your current challenges, and how you hope therapy will benefit you. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and express concerns. We will work together to identify your goals and decide on an approach that best fits you.
