I realized early on that helping others is about more than just listening; it is about being a guide for someone during their most vulnerable moments. I wanted to be that trusted advocate who helps folks navigate complex, often frightening situations, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and empowered.

I help break long-term goals into smaller, manageable, short-term steps, which makes them less overwhelming and provides frequent, small successes to celebrate.

Our first session

Our first session focuses on building rapport, establishing safety, and gathering history, rather than immediate, full-depth treatment. It typically includes reviewing confidentiality & consent, discussing current challenges and goals, assessing needs, and establishing a "we" based partnership.
