I have experience in community-based mental health working with children and adolescents. On this platform, I am providing therapy around infertility and reproductive trauma, as this is an area that I have journeyed through myself, and which I am passionate about providing care.

My focus

My intended population and focus are for women whose reproductive story is not going as they expected it would. This may include, but is not limited to, infertility, pregnancy loss, and navigating assisted reproductive technology.

My approach

My approach can vary per client, but I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help mitigate the feelings of depression and grief one may feel when having difficulty building a family.

My communication style

Often, one may not feel that they can talk about their family-building difficulties within their typical support circles. I provide a calm, safe environment, free of judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am passionate about being a therapist in the realm of infertility and reproductive trauma. It was hard for me to find support when I needed it. I have resolved my family-building journey and would like to be a support to others who need it.

My goals for you

Upon understanding one's story and building trust, I work collaboratively with clients to set meaningful goals. Some goals may be action-oriented, while some goals may be based on emotions and coping techniques.

Our first session

In the first session, the majority of time is spent hearing about your stressors and the feelings you have around them. I will ask questions for clarification and understanding. I think it is important to use this session to gain comfort with myself as a therapist.
