My journey to mental healthcare

I started out supporting people as a military chaplain, then worked as a first responder before transitioning into social work. I have always been drawn to the helping profession. It is fulfilling for me to support people who are having difficulties.

Our first session

It's normal to feel nervous. Think of it as a chance to connect and get to know each other. I'll ask about your background, the presenting problem, and how it impacts your life. If questions feel uncomfortable, we can skip them. At the end, we'll create goals to ensure we're addressing what's important to you.
