I'm a trauma therapist who specializes in EMDR and IFS/parts work. I've found this integrated approach to be transformative for clients who have felt 'stuck' with other therapy and modalities. My focus

We might be a good fit if you are dealing with depression, anxiety, unresolved trauma, low self-esteem, ADHD, relationship issues, or life transitions. Whether reprocessing the past, exploring future goals, building coping skills, or problem-solving, we will work together at your pace to move forward with empowerment and autonomy.

My approach to providing care is laid-back, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe in care that is highly individualized and catered to your specific needs. My goal is always to provide a safe environment to process, unload, and heal.

My communication style

My communication style is empathetic, honest, and direct, but I am mindful to leave space to thoughtfully reflect in session. I believe you are the expert in your own experience and it's a top priority that you feel heard and understood in therapy. You can expect to be met with patience and compassion.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a provider began as a victim advocate. I am always amazed by the resilience of the people I work with and their ability to heal and persevere through tragedy. It's beautiful to witness someone become empowered over their life again and find new meaning.

My goals for you

Your goals, focus, and pace in therapy are completely determined by you and we can always redirect based on any new insights that arise. EMDR and IFS/parts work can assist with resolving trauma symptoms, reprocessing painful past events, reconnecting with personal strengths and authenticity, and finding a deeper level of fulfillment in life.

Our first session

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and learn more about your background. I never want a new client to feel pressured or overwhelmed to include absolutely everything in the first session, as therapy is really an ongoing process. Just getting started can be the most important step!
