Depending on the needs of each client, I use various evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I enjoy working with clients from a strength-based perspective, utilizing positive traits and identifying ways to build upon these qualities in order to cultivate resilience.

My journey to mental healthcare

My career as a therapist was born out of a strong desire to help people sort through thoughts and feelings regarding their situations and relationships. I realized that helping others is so much more important.

In our first session, we will discuss the current issues in your life. I will ask a lot of questions about how you feel and the factors that contribute to your feelings. The time we spend together will allow us to build a connection by my gaining some initial understanding of your lived experience.
