Congratulations on taking the next step in your healing journey! I work with people in early recovery, especially women moving forward from trauma, grief, or relational issues. I have a person-centered approach and tailor sessions to your individual needs while providing direction and input.

I work with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. I have experience with extensive trauma histories, addiction recovery, and various types of grief and loss. I would love to work with you on whatever your goals may be.

I use a person-centered approach, tailoring sessions to your individual needs while providing direction and input. I incorporate psychoeducation, CBT-inspired techniques, and somatic approaches to support your healing.

My communication style

I use a person-centered, non-directive approach with active listening, unconditional positive regard, and empathetic understanding throughout. What does all of this mean? It means I listen to you and care about what you are saying.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been fascinated by what drives people and have an innate need to help others. I am very empathetic and feel I absolutely have to help when I can. I love learning and seek to better myself as a clinician by continuing to explore new ideas and techniques.

My goals for you

Therapy is a collaborative dance. I help clients identify their goals, whatever they may be, and then use a SMART approach, looking at their goals to make sure they are realistic and attainable. I am always very flexible as I understand needs and wants can change, and these may change goals. Every goal is owned by both the clinician and the client.
