As a Clinical Social Worker, I embrace a person-in-environment approach, meaning that systems matter, not just you, the individual in the system. With 35 years of experience assisting people and couples on their journey to healing and wholeness, I am here to assist you on your journey.

I am best at supporting adults in transition and in the exploration of their current life experience. Besides support, if you are interested in faster growth, I offer homework and process recommendations.

My communication style is warm, open, accepting, and also direct when needed. My goal is to bring clarity to a situation through effective communication.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have had a long journey to becoming a licensed therapist, starting with being an outdoor experiential therapist on a ROPES course. I have also worked in and directed inpatient geropsychiatric care. At this time, along with providing therapy, I work in an emergency room part-time, assisting people who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
