I am passionate about meeting my clients where they are at and establishing a caring and compassionate place for them where they feel seen and heard.

My focus

My focus is on the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders (including disordered eating), weight loss, family relationship issues, parenting, and self-esteem issues. I typically see mostly teen girls from 12 years and older, women and men.

My approach

My approach to therapy is to help clients reach their goals by teaching and implementing skills and by getting to the root of the issues so that healing and growth can occur. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, self-compassion, mindfulness, and somatic approaches.

I create a compassionate and collaborative environment where the client can feel empowered to live the life they want.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was attracted to human behavior when I was in a high school psychology class, but I decided to go back to school to become a therapist after I went through my own mental health issues. After that point, I wanted to learn as much as I could in order to help others overcome and thrive.

My goals for you

Goals are an integral part of therapy, but they are also made in collaboration with the client. If goals need to change due to circumstances or needs changing, then we update and adjust the goals in conjunction with the client's approval.
