I create a friendly, warm, welcoming, and laid back environment where you can open up and speak candidly about what you are feeling and how you are responding to medication. I appreciate humor and welcome it in sessions to help make what can be overwhelming into a more comfortable experience.

My journey to mental healthcare

I fell in love with mental health treatment through the nuances and creativity needed in this type of care and the relationships I was able to build with patients. I love getting to know people's stories and see them as whole persons. Helping them work through mental struggles to live their best lives is really rewarding for me.

Our first session

I gather a thorough background on medical history, mental health treatment history, social and family history, and current symptoms. The first session helps gain diagnostic clarification so we can narrow down the best medication choices.
