My approach is action-oriented and tailored to your goals and values, so you can stop struggling with uncomfortable thoughts and emotions and focus on the things in life that matter most to you.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path to becoming a psychologist started in research. I wanted to improve mental health treatments to help people become more resilient in the face of life challenges. That same desire drives my clinical practice as well.

I work with you to develop goals that align with your values. I use treatments that are backed by the best available research and tailor them to your lifestyle and unique needs. Most of your life happens outside of the therapy room, so I encourage you to take what we work on together into your daily life and practice skills between sessions.

The first session is an opportunity to share why you are seeking therapy and what is important to you. We'll review your history, lifestyle, and preferences so I can recommend a treatment plan personalized to your needs. Opening up about difficult experiences can be challenging, so I encourage questions and honest feedback throughout the process.
