Hi there, I'm April!

People describe me as warm, supportive, and calm—with a little “good energy” mixed in. My approach includes skills to get calm when you’re feeling anxious, as well as deeper emotional work, because I believe healing is about reclaiming your sense of peace.

My focus

If you have had traumatic experiences with religion, you may face significant challenges. Enduring religious trauma can leave you with a shattered sense of identity, feelings of isolation, and excessive self-criticism. Even if you’ve survived the worst of the trauma, you may still struggle with trusting yourself and making healthy decisions.

My approach

You can learn to trust your own inner wisdom and intuition with supportive guidance. Therapy, including EMDR, helps you see the connection between past traumatic experiences and your current, day-to-day struggles. This process can help you develop compassion for yourself and make healthier relationship choices.
