Jacky Jaeok Kim

Hi there, I'm Jacky Jaeok!

My name is Jacky (김재옥) & my name translates to "pearl of wisdom" in Korean. I am an LCSW in OR (pending in WA) with 11 yrs of exp in MH. My journey began advocating for individuals in the criminal justice system in public defender offices. As a former DACA kid and SA survivor, I carry a deep understanding of resilience and hope in everything I do.

My focus

I specialize in navigating through life’s challenges - including anxiety, depression, interpersonal struggles, dealing with problems in the workplace, academics, family dynamics, cultural or religious identity, intergenerational trauma, and more.

My approach

Over the years, my experiences working with people from diverse backgrounds have cultivated my ability to connect with others on a deeply empathetic level. I view life’s challenges through a multidimensional lens, appreciating the complexity of each person’s story and offering a space of acceptance and shared commitment to growth.
