My communication style

I prioritize clear and open communication so we create a safe, non-judgmental space. I will use active listening and reflection to make sure we understand each other, and I am not making assumptions. Even if we are working through tough issues, you can expect a calm and compassionate demeanor. I highly value feedback, as I am human after all.

My journey to mental healthcare

I first realized the power of therapy when my family went to therapy to help address the needs of my brother, who struggled with his mental health. I realized I wanted to help others heal and grow as my family did. I have helped build programs and launch new practices. I am driven by a constant desire to help others and see them prosper.

My goals for you

I see the therapeutic relationship as two people working collaboratively. We will do just that to help you define and set clear treatment goals, such as building self-esteem, communicating more clearly, or developing new skills to manage big emotions. We can adapt and change these to be clearer as we need to or as needs change throughout our work.

Our first session

The first session will be a time for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I may be asking some questions, and we may work on defining some loose goals. That being said, it is normal to be nervous, and I am a new person, so we will go at your pace and comfort level.
