I help individuals overcome barriers related to depression, anxiety, and trauma. My goal is to help you live a healthier and happier life by teaching skills and giving you tools to cope with the mental challenges that life throws at us.
My focus
I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, particularly PTSD. Since trauma affects many aspects of life, I also work with depression, anxiety, family issues, couples concerns, work challenges, relationship difficulties, substance use, and military-related issues.
My approach
I look at how our thoughts affect our emotions and behaviors. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety and depression, EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, and DBT for personality concerns. I don't believe one approach works for everyone, so I continue learning evidence-based methods to help you create the change you're seeking.
