My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up in a community where mental health care was largely unavailable and shaped by the impact of civil conflict, I witnessed firsthand how trauma, stress, and emotional struggles can affect individuals and families. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare and ultimately specialize in psychiatry.
