My focus
I typically work with individuals aged 12 and up who are dealing with mood disorders (including depression), anxiety disorders, anger management, emotional abuse, forgiveness, stress management, grief, trauma, social skills, mental health with substance abuse, behavior issues, attention disorders, weight management, and many more.
My approach
I believe in the importance of understanding the reasons we think and feel the way that we do, which often stems from our childhood and past experiences. I use various techniques in therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic techniques, active listening, solution-focused therapy, grief counseling, and trauma-informed therapy.
