I am calm and very approachable. I easily establish rapport with patients, and patience is key. I do more listening than talking.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have been an RN for over 18 years and have held many professional positions, from floor nurse to management, such as Director of Nursing. I have always been interested in mental health, and after much thought, I decided to pursue a graduate degree specializing in psychiatry.

My goals for you

We collaboratively discuss the problems that need to be addressed, establish attainable goals together, and always have a timeline.

Our first session

Introduction of self, reinforce privacy and confidentiality. An in-depth/comprehensive history taking, including both mental and physical history. We will discuss medications if needed, psychotherapy if needed, referrals if needed, and follow-up appointments. Safety is paramount.
