My communication style

Therapy is collaborative in nature. We will work together to find an approach that is right for you. My goal is to express compassion, empathy and non judgment. I pair this with active listening to attune to your needs. It is important for all clients to feel safe, heard, and seen in sessions with me.

My journey to mental healthcare

My love of the humanities started when I was a teacher. While teaching, I was offered a part time job at a private practice. I was able to observe how providers helped others through trauma and life's challenges. Realizing I could make a meaningful impact by not only teaching, but fostering healing... became my passion and current privilege.

My goals for you

We will set goals together in therapy. Whether it is finding new coping skills, learning to explore challenging topics, or finding ways to build your confidence - we will revisit goals and readjust them according to your needs.

Our first session

Our first session together will be about me learning you, a bit about your life and why you are currently seeking therapy. We will go at your pace and work on building a good therapeutic alliance so you feel comfortable and safe.
