I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you feedback on your ideas and experiences. I can provide opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as an empathetic listener.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always had an interest in psychology and helping others. My first magazine subscription was Psychology Today. I read self-help books as a teen. While in college, I had worked as a secretary in admissions at a detox unit. It was there that I made my decision to receive training as a therapist to support people in making positive change.

My goals for you

I believe that the client and therapist are partners. Together, we’ll identify and set goals that are important to you, whether they focus on improving relationships, building self-esteem, or learning skills to combat depression or anxiety, or other issues. Our goals will be flexible and can be adapted at any time, as you have new insights.

Our first session

During our first session, you and I will get to know one another. I will gather your history and an understanding of what motivated you to make that initial inquiry. You'll have the opportunity to ask me questions as I will you. We will decide whether we may be a good match to work together towards achieving your goals.
