I utilize attachment theory-based models of treatment. I am finding through my work over the years that capacity seems to be shrinking. My goal for my clients is to widen their ability to experience hard things and still be OK.

My communication style

I am a caring realist. Talk therapy has become a place where people go to ruminate on negative experiences, not necessarily change them. I'm focused on true healing.

My journey to mental healthcare

Every person deserves to be heard, seen, and understood. I see so much withdrawal in society, and it's leaving people so lonely. I desire to give people the confidence to understand themselves and connect.

My goals for you

Goals should be reasonable and attainable. There should also be some goals that we have to work hard to achieve. If structured correctly, the small attainable goals deliver you right to the doorstep of the larger goals.

Our first session

I love to connect and get to know clients, and for clients to get to know me. In the first session, we will discuss why you are seeking therapy, but it will be relaxed and informal.
