My philosophy is meeting clients where they are and helping them maximize their potential. The areas of focus for my practice are marriage and family, divorce, life adjustment issues, anxiety, and depression.

My typical clients are adults, couples, and families. I am most comfortable with the following conditions/circumstances: life adjustments, relationship/marriage issues, divorce, workplace issues, parenting concerns, anxiety, and depression.

My approach

My approach to providing therapy is eclectic, which means I use a variety of techniques since each person's life matters and personalities are different. Oftentimes, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Existentialism, and Family Systems Therapy.

My communication style

My tone in therapy would be best described as empowering, open-minded, and solution-oriented. Clients would state that being in therapy with me initially is like unearthing a part of themself and gaining greater understanding.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a counselor to help others get through difficult life matters. Our family members and friends are good supports, but they can't always be objective due to the personal relationship.

My goals for you

I create a treatment plan with my clients within the first two sessions to establish the goals and particulars of counseling. I believe that it's important for clients to have an active role in deciding their path in therapy.

Our first session

Clients should expect an open conversation about the initial reason for therapy, background about mental health history, and expectations for desired outcomes from therapy.
