Hi there, I'm Sean!

I work with youth and families using a client-centered and solution-focused approach. I have expertise working with survivors of trauma and traumatic grief, helping people navigate difficult experiences and find their path forward.

My focus

I typically work with people who recognize something is not working for them and are not always sure what it is or what to do about it. I have experience working with people with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD.

My approach

I believe people do well if they can. If you're having difficulty, we'll work together to understand what's getting in the way of reaching your goals or functioning in a manner consistent with your needs. Then we can begin helping you reach the level of well-being you desire.

My communication style

I hope to provide a warm and safe therapeutic environment for people to find rest and healing. If you are looking for a brash, confrontational therapist, you might want to keep looking.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up, I was always interested in people's stories. I initially thought I wanted to be a preacher, but quickly realized my passion for helping others came from working one-on-one and not from a pulpit.

My goals for you

Once we understand the problem, we can begin to identify goals and small incremental steps to meet those goals. There is great wisdom in taking time to truly understand what you're facing before rushing to solutions.

In our first session, you can expect to spend time discussing what brings you to therapy. Getting a firsthand account from you will set the tone for our work together. I'll strive to find a way to begin providing relief and begin your plan of care.
