Hi there, I'm Carl!

Welcome! Therapy often comes at a turning point in life, so I meet people where they are at in their lives and make sure they feel accepted, understood, and heard. I help people move past feeling overwhelmed with feelings of depression and anxiety and realize the choices they have in their lives.

My focus

I am a counselor who enjoys working with individuals of all ages and their families. I work with people to process events in their lives, including childhood trauma as well as current events, stressors, and relationship issues.

My approach

I am trained in marriage and family therapy and have specialized training in Solution-Focused Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I enjoy listening and making sure people have a safe space to talk and be their genuine selves. There is no judgment, only support!

My journey to mental healthcare

As I started my career, I knew that I wanted to help people, and I had a strong interest in both psychology and overcoming obstacles in life. This leads me to an amazing career of understanding and helping people, as well as how we heal individually and in relationships.

Goal setting is personal to each person I work with. I help individuals evaluate where they are at in their lives and then clarify what they would like to work through, change, and/or achieve.
