My journey to mental healthcare

In my studies of clinical social work, I have found that people need to be heard. Being a good listener has been a natural ability I learned about myself over my years of practice. Meeting the client where they are is most effective, as the client knows their needs the best and is aware of what feels right for them.

I approach goal setting by planning specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-based goals to give you the best chance of achieving what you want.

Our first session

The first session involves gathering information to get to know you better, understand why you're seeking therapy, and learn about current struggles and symptoms that need to be addressed.
