Hi there, I'm Angela!

I grew up seeing firsthand what mental health challenges could do to individuals and families, which inspired me to break generational patterns. My approach combines CBT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. I focus on challenging irrational thoughts, creating goals, and managing symptoms.

I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults navigating the transition into adulthood. I help people see how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, challenge irrational thoughts, and create meaningful goals. I truly love working with people who want to do the work.

My approach

I use CBT, REBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, humanistic, and gestalt approaches as needed. One of my specialties is pinpointing areas of concern and working to manage the symptoms.

My communication style is realistic and straightforward. I use everyday language, bring humor when appropriate, and am willing to be direct and confrontational when it serves your growth.

My journey to mental healthcare

I watched my father struggle with PTSD symptoms and saw the impact on our family. After working in restaurants, I decided to pursue something different. I went back to school and received a master's degree in counseling, beginning my therapeutic path.

My goals for you

My therapeutic goals for clients include managing symptoms of mental illness, reducing anger, managing stress, anxiety, and depression, setting meaningful goals, and improving communication skills.
