My communication style

I have a very direct and blunt communication style, but I do believe in being gentle when the situation calls for it.

My journey to mental healthcare

I made the decision to become a therapist at age 7. I would devour anything that had to do with the human mind and social behaviors. I earned my Master's during the pandemic and am planning on earning my PhD within the next few years.

My goals for you

I help my clients reach their goals through a scaffolding approach. We were bottom-up, identifying issues that are preventing clients from reaching their goals, using tools and resources, and working on any obstacles that may prevent further growth.

Our first session

In the first session, we always review the rules of therapy (confidentiality, how to request a release of information, how to reschedule, emergency/crisis sessions), and then we conduct our intake session, which allows me to get the best idea of the help my client needs.
