My communication style is clear, compassionate, and warm. I strive to provide an atmosphere of collaboration and practical goal setting with support and accountability. I honor that you are the expert of your life and in collaboration with my clinical expertise we will create an atmosphere of encouragement, growth, and positive change.

My journey to mental healthcare

My professional journey began well before I even knew how to define it. My upbringing and experiences have shaped my natural "feeling" of others and where they are at. My adventures and challenges have made me an overcomer, one who continues to persevere, no matter how tough it gets. Diverse settings and people have taught me to value culture.

My goals for you

Once clear goals are defined and a treatment plan is created, we work together to define ways to measure your progress and practice taking important steps to maintain positive outcomes in and outside of sessions. We create a system of reinforcements and relational support in your current environment to empower continued success.

Our first session

A first session with me is about getting to know you and collaborating on what therapy will look like for you. I will ask about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to get out of therapy, and get a better sense of what your life looks like and what you want it to look like instead. We will set the pace and direction together.
