Hi there, I'm Yaa!

I offer compassion, empathy, and a sense of humor, making it easy to communicate with all patients and families across the lifespan. I have worked in psychiatric emergency, inpatient hospital, and rehabilitation settings. I have a strong passion for helping patients get better on a personal level.

My focus

I specialize in anxiety and panic disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD, substance-related disorders, psychosis, ADHD, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, and OCD. All patients from any race and religion are welcome and treated with dignity and respect. My goal is to provide high-quality patient-centered care.

My most common theoretical approaches I used the most are person-centered, psychodynamic, and CBT

My communication style

I am open-minded and meet patients at the middle of their journey to create a well-patient-centered plan of care, as each individual is different, so are their needs. Come, let's get better together.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have developed a passion for mental health patients since the beginning of my nursing career. Working with mentally challenged patients and their families has motivated me to pursue higher degrees in mental health. The most beautiful thing that keeps me going is seeing my patients get better.
