My greatest joy is helping clients find their best sense of self. I believe my work is most effective when you are empowered to make meaningful and lasting change. I work with clients facing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, ADHD, and life transitions.

My approach

My counseling style is person-centered, and I often use cognitive and behavioral interventions with the intention that when we think better, we act better, and ultimately, we feel better. I believe in treating all people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I aim to reduce stigma and help you feel comfortable, safe, and supported.

My communication style

Trust is at the forefront of any relationship. It is important to me that we develop an environment that is safe and comforting for you. Therapy is a non-judgmental environment where you can be your true self without filters, knowing you will always have an ally in me.

We will collaboratively set treatment goals together based on your priorities. These goals will guide our sessions, and we will break down manageable steps to help us reach them. I tailor therapeutic approaches based on empirically-based practices and what works best to support you.

Our first session

Our first session will be very low-key, as we are just getting to know each other. We will talk about the various aspects of your life that come together to make you who you are. We will discuss your background and what you hope to achieve from our time together. You can share as much or as little as you are comfortable with in this session.
