Hi there, I'm Brittney!

I help adults overcome mental health issues that interfere with daily living and building healthy relationships. We all have mental health, and it's important for everyone to be healthy mentally and emotionally, whether you're going through a life transition or need coping skills to handle daily struggles.

My focus

My ideal client is a person who is open to feedback, has clear goals for therapy, and is ready to make the changes needed for an improved outlook on life.

My approach

Therapy is about the client. I approach therapy based on the goals the client has and then work on addressing barriers to those goals. I will work with my clients to obtain solutions to their problems.

My communication style

I prefer to speak with an assertive tone, directly and clearly, with appropriate eye contact. I am attentive to my client's verbal and non-verbal communication cues.

My journey to mental healthcare

I love working with clients who are ready to be healthier individuals for themselves and to improve the relationships around them. I have seen people at their worst in an inpatient setting, to clients operating in maintenance mode at an outpatient level. It is a process, and I am ready to help anyone ready to commit to that process.

Once goals are established, I'll work with the client as an accountability partner, following up with issues discussed in previous sessions.

Our first session

The first session will be an introduction session. I will ask the client questions about who they are as an individual, their daily lives, their interests, and their goals for therapy. I will share some brief information about myself to help the client feel comfortable with me.
