I focus on person-centered solutions for universal problems, as we all need help at some point in our lives. I work with people facing a wide range of challenges and believe in meeting you where you are with compassion and clarity.

My focus

I have worked with adolescents and youth, the homeless population, victims of domestic and partner violence, HIV/AIDS patients, couples, the incarcerated, and the LGBTQI community. I appreciate and respect people of all colors, genders, sexual orientations, and nationalities.

My approach

I am down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I focus on what short-term and long-term solutions can be harnessed to get a positive result. I use a person-centered approach with reality therapy, as I believe honesty and being realistic are good ways to start feeling better.

It feels real to work with me, with clarity and directive language. I won't just sit and listen but will challenge you to find modern-day solutions. I point things out without avoiding the truth. People who are ready to accept their reality and work toward change will thrive with me.

My journey to mental healthcare

After a summer job doing outreach while in college, I found my real calling in providing therapy and support to people in crisis. As an independent woman with a challenging childhood, I understand the struggle and what it takes to work through it.
