Hi there, I'm Anne!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in working with women and have experience in perinatal and fertility issues, adoption counseling, mental health support, relationship challenges, and a variety of presenting issues. I enjoy helping women set goals and feel honored to be a part of their journey towards growth.

My focus

I work with women experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and general life challenges. I specialize in supporting women who have experienced loss, perinatal mental health concerns, and fertility issues.

My approach

I pull from solution-focused techniques, cognitive behavior therapy, and psychodynamic practices. I believe each individual has unique strengths, and the counseling relationship is the most important part of therapy. I'm laid-back but provide structure and skill-based techniques you can practice outside sessions.

The counseling relationship is important, and I am laid-back, nonjudgmental, trustworthy, safe, and confidential. I am honored to be a part of my client's journey and growth.

My journey to mental healthcare

From a young age, I enjoyed volunteering and supporting others. I learned the importance of trusting relationships and valued my own journey in using my strengths to be the best version of myself. I'm truly honored to help others achieve and learn who they are meant to be.

We often set three goals in the first session and check back throughout therapy. I empower you to lead goal-setting and offer suggestions and structure as needed. We work together and communicate throughout the process to revisit goals, progress, and expectations. I believe you are the expert in your own life.

We discuss the counseling relationship, confidentiality, expectations of therapy, and goals. The first session is also used to get to know each other.
