I work with people who are often misunderstood and have always rooted for the underdog. My passion is helping clients navigate challenges with empathy and understanding, creating a space where you can feel seen and supported.

My approach

I specialize in ADD/ADHD, anxiety and panic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, bullying, depression, isolation and loneliness, personality disorders, prejudice and discrimination, self-harm, trauma from rape and violent crime, and workplace challenges. My approach is structured yet warm, meeting you where you are in your journey.

My communication style

I'm highly structured but comical. I don't judge, and I want you to feel comfortable knowing that in every session. You can expect a space where you're free to be yourself without fear of judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

Working with people who are often misunderstood has been my passion since being a peer counselor. I have always rooted for the underdog, and I have often been that underdog myself.

My goals for you

Every month, we set three short-term goals to complete. We also reflect on the month by stating three things we accomplished and three things we are currently grateful for.

Our first session

We discuss what brought you to therapy and the issues you'd like to resolve. We'll talk about the mode of treatment moving forward and the frequency of visits. I give homework at the end of each session and provide a detailed overview of focus points for the follow-up.
