I utilize a CBT approach to therapy. It is important that a collaborative relationship is developed between the therapist and the client. Together, we explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors expressed by clients to find success in dealing with anxiety, grief, and depression.

I work with clients experiencing problems managing stress, anxiety, depression, and anger issues.

My approach

I consider a person's past experiences and trauma with regard to the treatment process. I am proficient in utilizing play therapy, talk therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help clients find appropriate adaptive behaviors.

My clients report feeling heard and understood. They are then motivated to work towards gaining skills to achieve better mental health.

My journey to mental healthcare

After spending years in medical hospital laboratories and research labs, I discovered I liked interactions with people more than with test tubes. My entry into the mental health profession is simply an extension of my desire to provide general healing and health.
