I often use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which focuses on noticing and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns. This approach is practical and collaborative; you'll learn strategies and gain knowledge that can help you feel more in control of your emotions and choices.

My communication style is warm, open, and easy for you to connect with. In our sessions, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard.

My journey to mental healthcare

I first became interested in becoming a therapist after I received my B.S. in Sociology and realized that I wanted to go further. I knew I wanted to help others with managing the challenges in life. I researched mental health and decided to pursue that course.

My goals for you

I like to approach goal setting as a step-by-step process that we work on together. We'll start by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you'd like to see change. From there, we'll break bigger hopes into smaller, manageable steps that feel realistic and doable.

Our first session

Our first session is really just a chance to meet and talk. You can share as much or as little as you feel ready to, and there's no pressure. My focus is on helping you feel comfortable and starting to build a safe space where you know you'll be listened to and supported.
