I am a 15-year veteran police officer who now specializes in the treatment of veterans and first responders for trauma, addiction, and other co-occurring disorders. Looking for a therapist who will ACTUALLY get you? I've got your 6!

My focus

I work directly with first responders, veterans, and their family members. With that comes a specialized set of skills to assist clients with trauma, depression, anxiety, moral injury, feelings of guilt and shame, survivor's remorse, life transitions, insomnia, substance use and abuse, and other co-occurring disorders.

My approach

Somatic therapist and 15-year police veteran offering direct, compassionate care. I specialize in helping warriors and helping professionals process trauma through a mind-body approach, including the use of a professional massage chair when appropriate for the client. Therapy with me is active, honest, and focused on real, lasting change.

I am compassionate and empathetic, but I am also a direct communicator. You NEVER have to guess what my thoughts are.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up in abuse and addiction, and after 15 years on the job, I was self-medicating with alcohol. I finally asked for and received help and, in recovery, I returned to school to become a therapist who understood the unique challenges that come with these professions. We can and DO recover!

My goals for you

I help clients safely slow down and sit with difficult experiences without overwhelm. Using a somatic, mind-body approach, I guide trauma processing, build regulation, and challenge avoidance. Together, we set clear goals and actively work toward meaningful, desired change.

Our first session

Your first session is a consultation where we get to know one another. We will talk about your goals and the skills I possess to help you achieve those goals. I use real-world language, and you and I decide if we will be a good fit for one another. Therapists are not one-size-fits-all, and it's important that I am a good fit for you!
