My communication style

My style is warm and informal. The most important element of the therapeutic process for me is creating a healthy relationship with you. I want you to feel safe and comfortable enough to be yourself and share your feelings, and I want to feel safe enough to challenge the blind spots keeping you from healing.

My journey to mental healthcare

Therapy changed and probably saved my life when I met with a counselor. I was struggling with accepting myself. After experiencing unconditional acceptance from this stranger with whom I developed trust, I found an acceptance in myself that I never knew was possible. This is why I enjoy helping those exploring their identity.

My goals for you

I like for my clients to ask themselves: How and where do I want to see myself by the time we're done working together? As we work together, your goals may evolve as you gain new insights. Healing is not linear. There will be moments where you take five steps forward, and then you'll feel you've taken ten steps backward.

Our first session

Our first session will center around me taking a deep dive into your life. I'll be asking lots of questions to get a clearer picture of who you are. We'll dig into your past, examine your present, and coordinate goals around your future.
