My focus

I work with adults managing anxiety, depression, and life transitions, and those seeking support for self-esteem issues. Whether you're navigating uncomfortable emotions, emotion regulation, or exploring personal goals, I'll work with you to create a plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable.

My approach

I practice through Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I help you identify the patterns you create through your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Once those patterns are identified, we can reframe thoughts, understand emotions on a deeper level, or change behaviors for more favorable outcomes.

My communication style

In a session with me, you'll find that I'm warm, empathetic, and genuine. I create a space for you to verbally process what's happening or has happened in your life. I'm open, honest, kind, and can be direct when needed.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up in a household where family members experienced different mental health issues. I wanted to learn how to help those around me find the strength and resilience to improve their daily functioning. I continue in this field because I believe with the right person by your side, you can reach a meaningful life.

My goals for you

When setting goals, it is important to understand your values and what is important to you. I help patients identify their strengths to be able to work through their goals. I believe that patients are the experts in their own experience. I am here to walk with you on your mental health journey to find the best pathway for you.

Our first session

In the first session, we'll review confidentiality and set expectations. I'll ask about your upbringing to understand what makes you you. We'll discuss your current stressors, goals, and strengths. This session is about building understanding and rapport.
