I take an empowering client-centered approach and work as a facilitator to help clients gain insight into their lives and help them create the journey they desire.

My journey to mental healthcare

After teaching for 18 years and being deployed to Iraq during that time, I decided to switch gears in hopes that I could help others with the many transitions encountered in our lives. I chose marriage and family therapy because I believe that I can work with individuals and couples who are part of systems that can be challenging.

My goals for you

Goal setting is a team effort. Clients are supported in creating goals they can accomplish in a reasonable amount of time.

Our first session

The first session is an assessment. Clients can provide background information in hopes that an issue or problem is identified and a working treatment plan is created. Throughout this process, clients are treated with dignity and respect and encouraged to be open about their needs and hope for change or resolutions.
