My communication style

I adapt my style to each situation, using active listening, open-ended questions, and reflection to build trust. I'm mindful of nonverbal cues and cultural sensitivity. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, heard, and empowered to participate in your care decisions.

My journey to mental healthcare

I met a mental health man in our church who no one in the church wanted, but I got a little close to him on a Sunday, offered him donuts and coffee. He became emotional and made a statement, "No one has ever offered me friendship or asked how I am doing". He shared his pathetic story with tears and how he was not allowed to see his children.

My goals for you

Together, we break goals into small, manageable steps, address barriers, and adjust expectations as needed. I track progress, encourage self-compassion, and celebrate wins. We review and adjust goals regularly to keep you moving forward.

Our first session

Our first session focuses on getting to know each other, building trust, and creating space for you to share your story. I'll listen with empathy and help you feel comfortable.
