My communication style

I am direct and believe in empowering clients to make their own decisions. I ask questions regarding the environment clients are currently in, as I believe in systems theory, in which upbringing has a lot to do with decision-making skills as an adult.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up in a single-parent home and was very independent, but wasn't given a voice and felt ignored. I believe in giving a voice to children and adults who otherwise feel ignored or powerless.

My goals for you

I believe in guiding while empowering clients to make their own decisions. I do believe in setting goals with my clients while also allowing clients to make changes to their own treatment plans.
