Hi there, I'm Dianne!

My approach is challenging and changing a client's thought patterns. My focus areas are depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and relationship counseling.

My focus

I work with a lot of clients dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, anger management, and ADHD. I also do a lot of relationship counseling, dealing with communication issues stemming from infidelity, lack of trust, lack of agreement in parenting, and an array of other issues.

My approach

The most common therapeutic intervention I use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, I also practice eclectic therapy. My focus is on providing effective tools to help my clients manage their concerns.

My communication style

I am compassionate yet assertive. I work hard to create a safe and relaxing environment in which people feel comfortable enough to share their story. I make sure to let my clients know that they can talk to me about anything. I do my best to ensure that they understand that I truly care for them.

My journey to mental healthcare

I believe being a therapist is my life's calling. I have always been someone who enjoys helping people with their problems. I don't just see counseling as work; I see it as my assignment from God.

My goals for you

Once the client feels comfortable and feels safe talking, goal setting is discussed. This is done in the first session. After information is gathered in the first session, part of the treatment plan that I offer will have goals and objectives to reach those set goals.

My client should expect to feel heard with empathy. They should expect a warm and friendly environment. They should expect to work with someone who cares about their concerns and will work hard to help them manage their issues and find available solutions.
