Hi there, I'm Carolyn!

I create an environment where you can be your authentic self, and I will meet you exactly where you are. I seek to validate you in your struggles and empower you to make the changes you seek. I specialize in working with mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder in teens and adults.

My focus

Most clients I see present with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, or autism. Typical clients present with unmanageable stress, interpersonal conflict, life transitions, emotional regulation difficulties, and self-harm. I also love to work with those newly diagnosed with mood disorders or anxiety.

My approach

I use a trauma-informed, eclectic approach that best suits each client. I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which works on mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation. These varied domains allow me to work with different populations who may need support in one or all of these areas.
