Hi there, I'm Robin!

I work with youth, adolescents, and adults. My clinical approach is strength-based and solution-focused, and I provide clients with a warm, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and supported. I specialize in eating disorders, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, family conflicts, self-esteem, and relationship issues.

My approach

My approach varies based on your needs, and I use a holistic lens focusing on you in your environment. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to identify and alter negative thought patterns. We'll develop practical skills you can use beyond our sessions.

My communication style

My communication style is calm, warm, and nonjudgmental. Building rapport is important to me so we can work together to make significant changes and discoveries. One of my top priorities is that you feel heard and supported. We can explore including a spouse or family member in some sessions if you feel that would be helpful.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always had a desire to help people. I feel privileged to work with each of my clients to help them through difficult times and to discover—or rediscover—their strengths.

My approach to goal setting is collaborative. We'll work together to identify what stage of change you're in and what you'd like to accomplish. We'll develop new skills and helpful thinking styles while tracking your progress. My goal is for you to leave with a more positive outlook and a toolbox of skills you can use.

Our first session

We'll spend the majority of our first session getting to know one another and exploring how you've been feeling recently. I'll ask questions to better understand what challenges you've been experiencing and what you're hoping to get from therapy. I am a patient listener and will learn from you what is most important as we move forward together.
