My journey to mental healthcare

My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t linear — it was shaped by my own experiences and a belief that change is possible. I became a licensed professional counselor to offer the kind of support I wish more people had. I work with adults across Texas via telehealth, so you can access care from wherever you feel most comfortable.

The process of setting and accomplishing goals is always collaborative. Goals are created through the lens of being measurable, achievable, and realistic. Depending on the frequency of treatment, treatment plan reviews are always revisited and reconstructed.

The first session is about you, your lived experiences, your hopes and fears, and visualizing the finish line of your treatment expectations. Questions like “What do you hope to gain from treatment, and how will you know that you are finished?” will be inquired.
